Aditya Ikranegara

Today's talented artist is Aditya Ikranegara, with his sketch digital paint style. Honestly I haven't come acroos another artist who's work looks like his, unlike most digital painters (and regular artist) Aditya does not refine every detail of his images. Instead leaving them rough and clear, showing every line and stroke of the image outside of a designated area. With almost all of his works there is a specific area where he refines and smoothes the image to be of the highest quality and then lets the rest stay in an almost sketch like state. Normally I would see these works and unfinished and not execptional but when Aditya does, the work feels not only complete but has a level of realism that goes beyond the visable. When looking at the works I feel as though he has captured not only the image but all the moevement and emotion with in it, as though this is not a picture but a window.

Such as with the peice above titled "Hunter" my mind wanders around the characters and comes up with stories about those two, who they are, what they are doing, why they are there. There is such a level of depth and emotion captured with in his works and with such simple lines, makes me feel almost as if I could do it especially sense he has a tutorial. Honestly I feel though that it is missing some key steps and components to it and if I were to try and replicate it... well it wouldn't look even close to half as good as his.

Ryota

Alright today's artist is a little different, for one I neither know their name nor their gender. After looking at their profile I have come to the conclusion that I shall be refering to them as Ryota. Ryota draws pokemon, yes pokemon. Who here knows/remembers pokemon? Please raise you hand -stinks hand in air and waves wildly- sorry bout that I just love pokemon, it's probably my favorite childhood memory. Anyways back to the art, Ryota's gallery is filled with digital painting dedicated to pokemon and more specifically the majority of them involve one or more of the eeveelutions (AKA eevee's and or it's evolved forms). What was your favorite pokemon? Mine was always eevee though vulpix was also adorable.

Moving on once more, I feel that she (I'm just going to say Ryota is a she) has improved immensely when looking back on her gallery but still has a lot left to learn. Mostly I feel it has to do with texture, although the feeling and realism of her fur improves with every piece of work I feel that it still has the look of a digital paint and I think there is still some lighting to improve upon, I think mostly because of the random sparkle shiny flares she enjoys putting on her work. They are nice in moderation and when placed precisely, right now though they don't feel that way. With more practice and continued improvement I am sure her gallery will be a beauty to behold.

André Brito

With dramatic lighting and powerful lines, Andre Brito storms todays post with a photography style all his own. Andre's photographs are all shot in black and white which when done poorly is dull and looks like the artist was trying to hard to bring a foreign element to their work. However his work is bold and strong, I can not imagine this beautiful and inspiring pieces in anything other then the two most contrasting of colors. Andre marries form and shape with contrast and lighting so well I wonder how any one could ever hope to compete. His gallery is filled with beautiful women in striking poses and to me his work brings true meaning to the phrase art not porn. Despite the women being nude and exposing all of their bodies to the camera lens and thus to the world there is nothing dirty or pornographic about the images. They are pure form and motion, accentuating the lines of the female form in a style that is as flattering as it is stirring.

When looking at his work I can't help to feel that women truly are one of the most beautiful creatures on the planet. It brings true the old myths and legends of the temptresses and sirens of the old world while keeping the focus simple and modern. I truly feel his gallery is an example of what it means to capture true beauty in motion. But unlike other artist who photograph with dramatic lighting and subtle lines he does not stay with in the realm of normal. In his gallery there are a great many images with props. Not the usual run of the mill props though, his tend to leave the impression of sky dancers and hidden meanings. From a photographers standpoint I hope to someday be as skilled and talented as he is.

Abayomi

All right I know I'm not the greatest at critiquing and analyzing art, heck I'm not even talented at it. I just love looking at art and I really feel like there should be more here then just pictures, more then just images, like there should be some thought and human emotion behind it all. Anyway's I'm hoping that with time and practice I will become more adept at analyzing art not only on a mechanical level but an emotional and express level as well. Until I am as epic as I would like to be I've asked a friend of mine who hasn't gone through hours of art classes that only talk about the mechanics of the visual world. Hopefully he'll be making his depute soon! In the mean time I'll be doing my best to break down images, meaning, mechanics so on and so forth.

Now on to the art, this days is an artist who I'm not exactly sure how I feel about. Her name is Abayomi (ok it's her online name) and her work is different, it is a strange mix between reality and fantasy and I don't mean that in it's composition. It looks almost as if it is a combination of images photoshoped together into it's own image, but in the same moment it does not seem to look like that at all. I am unsure how she does this not how exactly I feel about it. Her style however is defiantly unique and memorable.

I originally found her because I am a fan of The Last Avatar and more specifically I ship Zutara (for those who don't speak fanfics and stuff it means I support the relationship idea of Katara and Zuko) and she happens to have a lot of Zutara in her gallery. And for those who don't consider it real anime (boooh) there is also some Hellsing (huzah!) and incase that isn't enough for you she also does cosplay.

Mystery Artist 2

It's another nameless talent who shall be known as Mystique for she is mysterious and unique. Sorry It's way to late at night for me to be writing about anything and zzzzzzz... anyway's sorry bout all the silliness. Now Mystique is what I would call an up and coming artist, the oldest piece in her gallery is from 2006 and sense then each piece has shown improvement in coloration, anatomy and dramatic imagery. Her latest work shows nice stylization and grasp of shading and color. Ooh and here's a tasty little bite just like our last mystery artist she also has a couple tutorials up her sleeve, I would suggest checking them out [Video]. Who knows might even catch her during a live stream! Now wouldn't that be fun.

Also a diversity of fields of work I don't know about you but I can't create amazing other planetary views like the one above with spray paint, along with using pencils and being able to digitally paint. I am not that multi-talented... I'm not really even all that talented. Like several other artist out their she has her own comic strip! I first found her because of her comic I really loved the design her purple elf, a complete image of her design in the comic can be seen [here], isn't it awesome in a 'I'm more badass then you and way hotter' way.

Mystery Artist 1

It's another day so another artist, this day is a talented cartoonist who's name unfortunately I do not know. However a lack of name only adds to the mystique of their work... yah that sounds fancy. Anyway's  Regardless of knowing his name or not (lets just call him Mr. E) his talent is not diminished, with vibrant color and a unique style of coloring Mr. E is a very talented self proclaimed cartoonist with a great deal of promise and personal flair. Not only does he show several variations of his key style and create women of sumptuous form but he has also redesigned my personal favorite Disney character in a new, unique and beautiful way.

Mr. E has also been kind enough to have several lovely tutorials which are very informative and useful, they can be found at [linky] I would suggest watching them at some point especially if you admire his style. Now go and pursue his gallery and admire the beautiful wonderfully candy colored images.

Fabio Barboni

This blog used to have the idea of a journal to show some of my life and personal thoughts out for people to comment and think upon, however I realized I didn't have the drive or desire to write about my life everyday. Nor do I think anyone would want to read about it, I'm rather bland and average. But I realized there is so much are in the world and so many artist need to be brought forward advertised for the beauty and wonder of their work. I have decided to write small articles highlighting an artist a day as well as my feelings towards them and their style.

The first artist featured is Fabio Barboni, his work is beautiful and whimsical. With accurate anatomy and flowing lines his characters seem to have a life of their own. His unique mix of reality and fantasy which is inspiring and noteworthy. The beautiful details in all of his works are breathtaking and with in each piece there shows a clear understanding and mastery of lighting and shapes.

Written under every piece of work in his gallery is the date of creation for each specific piece, browsing thought the few works he has decided to share online it is clear that with every piece of work his skills continue to grow and improve blossoming into the artist he is today. I look forward to seeing more of his exquisite work.
